Directions to Altenhofen Country Inn You can reach Sargentville by plane via Bangor International Airport, which is 60 minutes north of us, or via Portland Airport, which is three hours south of us. Continental, Delta and USAir all fly into Bangor. Car rentals are available at the airport. From Boston: Drive north on Interstate 95 to Augusta. Take Route 3 east from Augusta to Belfast. Take coastal Route 1 north, past Bucksport, the turn right on Route 15, which travels to Deer Isle down the Blue Hill Peninsula. Stay on Route 15 south until you see our sign. From Bangor International Airport: Follow signs to Route 95 south. Take 95 south to Route 395 east. After approx. 2 miles, exit to Route 15 south (Brewer exit, just over the river). Follow Route 15 south to Bucksport. Four miles beyond Bucksport center turn right on 15 south (at the Texaco station) down the Blue Hill Peninsula. Stay on Route 15 south until you see our sign. |
